It's "The Girvan" this weekend, and we've compiled a little summary of statistics following last year's race.

The honour of most overall wins is taken by Paul Curran, England : 3

The most stage wins is by Des Fretwell, England : 7

The most stage wins by a Scot is a tie with 3 each for Ronnie Boa and George Clare, and the most recent Scottish wins are a stage in 2000 by Roddy Riddle, who also won a stage in 1992.

Before that, Andy Ferry won a stage and was the last Scottish winner of the race in 1987 (when our editor Martin, racing in Andy's "Alba" team was 6th overall). Brian Smith also won a stage that year.
