Sad to see yet again another team folding due to lack of finance, but what chance have small UK based teams got when Pro Tour teams such as Astana also have money problems.

It's another onto a very long list which I've read about over the years, and I'm sure it won't be the last. Things have improved slightly over the years with the UCI introducing the bond, but surely they and the national associations can do more to try and avoid the circumstances occurring once again.

As always it is the riders who come off worse, especially in these tough economic times, and those who dip their hands into their own pockets in an attempt to keep team afloat.
